THE LAUNCH OF SMILERS
The Comedy Club launches a new night of comedy.
An established comedy club with an ever-evolving lineup, The Comedy Club at City Limits is proud to announce the launch of a new night of comedy on Thursday nights in the heart of Cork City called “Smilers”.
Since the Comedy Club first opened its doors, it has become Ireland’s premier comedy venue and many acts have begun their careers and have grown in success along with the Comedy Club. They include such acts as Dara O'Briain, Tommy Tiernan, Colin Murphy, Ed Byrne, Des Bishop and Jason Byrne to name but a few.
So it no surprise that the launch of this new comedy night will herald a new chapter in the proud tradition of the Comedy Club.
Smilers will showcase the finest up and coming superstars of the Irish comedy scene.
Such people as Dave McSavage, Robbie Bonham, Ruben, Jarlath Regan and Aidan Bishop will all go on to become the new face of Irish comedy and in Smilers you will have a front row seat. Smilers will also be giving local Cork comedians a chance to play in the famous club by having a Cork comedian on each and every night.
So if you want your chance to see the next Dara O’Briain or Des Bishop then come along to our opening night on Thursday 15th of February at 9.00pm in Sky Bar probably one of the best looking bars in Cork, for a night of great comedy. Entry fee on the night will be €7 or if you can prove you are a student, then €5.
The line up for the first two nights is as follows:
