The rugger is on in Cordiff apparently.

Will Ireland beat Wales? Will BOD give us his sneery smile? Have you ever seen a smaller face on a bigger head? Who knows. It'll be some focking craic though. C'mon Ireland.

not going to win the six nations the way they have played so far - not going to win this game even. Very lucky to be ahead walse should be out of site and at least one irish player should be in the bin - perhaps doncha

I quite enjoyed the game until I switched over to watch the Utd game. But I've always liked watching Wales like.

Incidentally, my view on the 6 nations has been somewhat reviewed. I suggest the whole phenomenon is best represented as something which has an equal place in the Sports forum (where knowledgeable types can discuss the finer points of the game) and on the Langers Forum where the groupies of both genders can post pictures of themselves in full oirland regalia with Fiachra and Nollag outside Croker and discuss which player they feel strongly has the nicest ass.

I have to say I never really get the constant pillorying and mocking of O'Driscoll.
I don't really give a flying fuck if he's from a Dublin suburb with an even number, or if he's going out with a model, as long as he does his job. And he doesn't even seem like that much of an asshole anyway.
I mean if our international soccer players put in half the work he does, showed half his will to win and had half his ability, Irish soccer wouldn't be the laughing stock it is at the moment.
And I speak as someone who has played soccer and never played rugby.

I would agree wholeheartedly with the above funnily enough.

My issue with rugby culture is to do with the social climbing aspect of it. It's All-Ireland aspect is one of rugby's outstanding achievements.

This, I'm afraid, is my suspicion about a lot of those in favour of a 32 county republic, they have fuck all interest in giving anything to bring it about.

You wouldn't mind if Amhrann na bhFiann was a decent song....

We'll have to up the ante a bit and avoid injury, but I still think it can be done. D'arcy and O'Driscoll against Mike Tindall could be tasty. Also we didn't use the bench much.

Exactamundo. I viewed that fixture as the biggest worry of all, the welsh have spoilt our party many times.

I am feeling confident we will see a great game and an Irish victory against France next weekend.

Oh and I agree with the supporters of Ireland's call. It amuses me the one working example of a united Ireland gets people in such a spin over the fact that they dont sing a song highlighting the internal division of our team when away.

i was saying that to the guy i was with. to be honest i tought they looked very unfit. it was the first game i was at in ages where a lot of the irish players used to have the hands on the legs gasping for air. What i did notice was how stuffy it was in the stadium. Maybe it was worse on the pitch. First time there and I dont know wether its like that all the time or just yesterday.

got on the stenna europe this morning at 2:45. in hindsight should have got a cabin. im crippled from the lounge chair. still though i prefer rosslare-fishguard than a trip on that god awful cork swansea. glad its gone, gets rid of all temptation.

I don't have a national identity in common with Unionists in the North. They think they're British. I'm sure as shit not British. There is no national anthem that could represent both them and me, nor should there be. We are of different nationalities like.

No you see they think they're Irish but their Irish and our Irish are two different things. Their version of someone who is Irish is someone who lives on this island under British rule. Ours is ever so slightly different.

Top work on the fringe remark though.

Well, that is a more accurate way to put it, I suppose.

Sound, I didn't say anything about who should play on what team. If they'll even play on the same team as the fellas from the 26 counties, they're probably pretty enlightened by northern unionist standards, and I think that should be encouraged. Also, I'm not a big rugby fan, and it's not a huge issue for me.

Look, I just hate the fucking song, okay?
