View Full Version : You're only jealous...

...is the common reason given to a dislike of clubs like Man U, Chelsea etc.
But what about those clubs you hate where jealousy could not be a contributing factor? (and I hated Chelsea even when they were shite,I don't really hate ManU anymore-that WAS jealousy).
For example, I dislike the following:
Rangers: At one time there was jealousy involved, I'll admit it-but even if they get so skint that they can only field blind 8-year-old amputees I'll still want these horrible fuckers to lose. No explanation needed.
Shamrock Rovers: Still speak of themselves as 'Ireland's biggest club' even though they have to go cap in hand to clubs that hate them to fulfil their 'home' fixtures because their fans are knife (or rather boxcutter wielding wannabe Millwall mongs). Shower of wankers, the only set of fans in Ireland with a majority of wankers amongst their support.
Liverpool: Trust me there is nothing to be jealous of here. Just a shower of tools.
Newcastle United-born losers and bottlers who think 'dedication' is displaying your bitch tits in a floodlit snoozefest at Ewood Park in January.
Man City-Bunch of tits who think 'dedication' is being seen crying on cameras in May. Another shower of losers.
Millwall-sociopathic and proud of it. You want us to hate you? Ok then.
Real Madrid, Roma, Lazio, and any other club with organised far-right support groups: Just fuck off.
Sheffield Wednesday: Don't ask me why-I have always disliked them. It's a fuckin stupid name for a football club as well. As is...
Tottenham Hotspurs: Long before Sky brought cheerleaders, sumo wrestling suits and other yank wankology into the monster they spawned, a group of people met in London and decided to give a club a fucking stupid name. That club is the single most underachieving club in proportion to the number of column inches it recieves anywhere on the planet.
Cobh Ramblers-Wankers, all three of them.
Hulkamaniacs-fuckin couldn't get over it when the Warrior defeated Hogan at Wrestlemania VI. The Ultimate Warrior is, sadly, more mental in real life than he was as a WWF chatacter.
Special mention to Southampton FC for the dancing fat Christy Brown-a-like who used to dance and wink at the camera whenever they scored. People like him are ruining soccer/football.

It's not the dislike of the clubs, it's the dislike of nobheads who start to support a successful team, how you can support any team without a tie to the city is beyond me....dickheads to a man...

I'm guilty of that myself Pez, being more than a little fond of Everton and just as fanatical about Celtic as I am about Cork City, refer to all three clubs as 'we' and sometimes simultaneously delighted/pissed off on a Saturday as contrasting results come in!
It's people who stop supporting a team after they become unsuccessful that I can't understand. You need to understand as well that many people come from cities and towns without a team to support.

Roma tifosi are known for their left-wing and far-left sympathies- not far right. Inter and Bari also.

Were-but in recent years a far-right element has crept into the club.
Used to be the team I watched out for in Italy. Now I couldn't give a shite about Italian football.
Oh and Markwalsh-go throw a snooker ball at a dartboard. Piss poor windups.

I object to Utd and Chelsea being bracketed together in all circumstances including this.
For what it's worth:
a) I dislike Liverpool fans but actually have never had an issue with the club. Generally, they're a club whose fixtures I look out for. I'm betraying how long I've been a Utd fan with that though! ;)
b) Chelsea (as well known on here) and long before they were successful.
c) All London clubs really, I find myself shouting for almost any northern club against them.
d) Shelbourne
e) Real cunting madrid
f) Just being contrary, Celtic irritate me a little bit with the "diddly-aye, shamrocks" thing and the idea that all Irish people should be Celtic fans
g) Borussia Dortmund (Blackburn gone mental)
h) All Turkish clubs
i) All Portuguese clubs

Don't think all Irish people should be Celtic fans, but any Irish person who supports rangers (and I know a few) should take a look at themselves.
Shelbourne...yeah I dislike them as well but nowhere near Rovers' league. The fact that they have about 300 fans made me forget all about them!
Dortmund are a huge club in their own right, as are Schalke. That part of Germany has a lot of big clubs because it's one of the world's most densely populated regions. You've just reminded me though to edit my original post to include Bayern fucking Munich.
Good shout on the Turkish clubs-bad bastards-even had the cops lashing out at Man Utd players and what did UEFA do? Fuck all.
Oh yeah, how the fuck did I forget Leeds?

How the hell I forgot Bayern Munich I just don't know. Despicable club, not so much for the fans but for the sheer arrogance of the players. Totally dislikeable shower not least the detestable Stefan Effenberg, now thankfully retired. I lived in Germany for a year and Bayern are hated there-hated.
And I forgot Leeds as well. Never liked the fuckers. Except in 1992 when they shut a few of my classmates up. Scummy fans. Just could never warm to them. Why can't they be more like that nice Sheffield United or Arsenal?
Oh yeah-Bolton. Another shower of utter wankers who think, because one great comedian comes from there, that they're important.

I hate Everton cos they really believe themselves to be a big club. Funny really. The hatred has almost changed to sympathy now.

Yes I am ..one of the most underrated rivalries in football. Everton and Spurs both think they are bigger than the other and neither cud win the fa trophy if they were left into it. Although hopefully spurs are gonna change all that this year

Heh heh heh.
Agreed on both accounts. Although in fairness we've got the slightly better claims in the history department. Not that that means anything .
In fact it really disappoints me that I actually quite like Martin Jol. A good manager and a seeminly good guy. Saying that ye still have that odious cunt Defoe.

Yeah impossible not to like Jol. A friend of mine was talking to Hans Segers last year and he said that after the Jol and Wenger spat Jol told Segers "I just wanted to hit the arrogant bastard so much I was going to aswell I was so close but thank god I didnt"! legend
