View Full Version : Brian Corcoran-Every single ball
Anyone read it? Got it for a present and thought it might be a bit on the boring side but am throughly enjoying it. Really brings home the sacrifices made at that level.
Don't know what the gimp from the indo was on about. He was very, very selective in what he chose to attack Corcoran with.
Corcoran comes across as slightly Roy Keanish when it comes to an almost obsessive will to win but thankfully his victories seem to have brought him a lot of joy and pride. Nice easy read.

finished it at the start of december. Good read and some good insights. It was clearly obvious from Sweeneys article that he did not read the entire book but merely the token chapter distributed by the publishers to the press

Pretty good read. If anyone in Erin's Own reads it, the lesson of giving Corcoran the captaincy when he was 19 has obviously not been learned. He found it a big burden. I pity Kieran Murphy - he's a talented player who needs to be encouraged gradually rather than having something like that placed on him.

Very true. The sooner they change that rule the better. Which in GAA terms could mean a long time.
