What's this all about?

Latest naff rumour on Sunderland message boards ... Fowler to go on three month loan to Sunderland in January. However if it's a loan, I'm not sure why it can't happen now.

That would be a good signing he is guaranteed to score in that division

He got Liverpool's goal tonight off his hip while looking like he was trying his best to avoid the ball. Hasn't seemed to have built on his improved fitness during the summe.r Doesn't look any sharper to me. If anything he looks even more off the pace sadly.

Yeah, poor game from Fowler.
No service and two goals.
he'd want to buck up his ideas.

Fowler did have a poor game. His 2 goals shouldn't cloud over that fact (although the 2nd one was taken a lot better than the first). Bellamy was infinitely more lively an dangerous and put in a fabulous cross for the first goal.

He's in the team as a goalscorer and scored twice. He's never going to be as lively as Bellamy (few are) as they are completely different types of players.
