All I want to see is Anichebe get a start. Really want to see what he can do in full game.
Maybe alongside Beatie, who needs to get some confidence. Mightn't be a bad idea giving AJ a bit of a rest

Anichebe will probably get a run out tonight. Saw him at the Luton game and he had a good game when he came on. Built like a tank and clever on the ball. Beattie does need a game or two to get his confidence up, but I really cant see Moyes dropping AJ. Im confident we'll do this arsenal team tonight though. Saturday was a bitter pill to swallow,so hopefully tonight will be the response.

I've only seen him in dribs and drabs. But he looks promising. Only 19. He's lightening quick . And is built like a tank for his age. Some really good reports from people who've seen him a lot for the youths and reserve.

Most Evertonians are calling for him to be given a regular staring place alongside AJ for home games at least.

Ya. The second half performance on saturday was as bad an everton display I've seen since the Walter Smith days. A completely gutless performance.

I think they'll win tonight as well. Moyes seems to fancy this trophy this year for some reason and I think he'll have them up for it

arsenal first team dont seem to have the bottle or the fight away from home this season and if everton get stuck into this team from the start they should win,2-0 toffees.

Thats a premiership strong back line. Everton will definitely have to play to two upfront with cahill supporting. These arsenal youngsters are always up for it though. only for everton being at home i would have said this was a struggle for the toffees.

Ya. The Arsenal younsters knocked Everton out in 2004. If I remember correctly Owusu-Abeyie tore them apart so I wouldn't write off the youngsters .But I just feel that Everton are putting carling Cup higher on their list of priorities

I'd actually be very worried if Eboue plays. He's lethal going forward and Everton are struggling at LB at the moment

It will all depend on an early goal. If we score it, we'll probably hold out with that. If Arsenal score first its curtains for us. There's no way we would come from behind to win against these boys.

By all accounts AJ was denied ANOTHER blatant penalty. i make that 4 this season. Then Mcfadden was sent off for questioning the decision ( he may have called Graham Poll a fucking cheat)

Ah well , at least it wasn't the league.

Oh and Moyes really needs to learn how to make substitutions. He just doesn't have the ability change it up when needed. Be it when we're ahead or behind.

It reminds me of Ronaldo last season for United
His reputation, like AJ's deserved, didn't help

The thing is , he doesn't dive really. He gets himself into positions where defenders have to challenge and for the most part they end up catching him. He doesn't need a second invitation to go down but they are pens for the most part

Ronaldo was equally hard done by last season

Yeah I've seen a few of AJ's this season and he has been hard done by but he used dive or go down easily for Palace a bit-it's hard to shake of the reputation though and i have to admit, a lot of these dives are very hard to call even watching in slow motion

And that guy was right about Graham Poll, he is a prick

And that guy was right about Graham Poll, he is a prickPoll has always been useless. I've never had any time for him since he failed to give Spurs a blatant penalty in the Carling cup final against Blackburn a few years back.

He once disallowed an Everton gola against Liverpool as he said he blew the whistle that second it hit the net or something
His decisions in some of the United Arsenal games have been shocking too

He seems to love the limelight as well.

I read somewhere that something like 1/4 of all red cards given by Poll throughout his career are given in the last 5 minutes of the game. It's almost as he needs to do something to get himself in the news

After the World Cup embarrassment he quite possibly houldn't have ref'd again
He is still getting big games and is seen by some in England as the main man
Says it fucking all really

Uriah Rennie still gets games too (shocking last night)

And the biggest prick of them all, Jeff Winter, is on Sky wanking off every five minutes about evry big decision in big games

Only caught about 2 minutes of the game last night. But in that 2 mins , Rennie booked the Southend keeper for replacing a stud

He's shit

He ignored a clear assault on Rooney for a stone-wall peno but he was even more unfair on Southend to be honest-i dunno how the guy still gets games

AAAAAAARGH!!!!!!!!!! That fucking twat Poll should be demoted to sunday league, where he would undoubtedly get his head kicked in every week. He completely fucked the game up last night. Everton will never have the quality at the moment to outgun arsenal, but to have to do with 10 men proved a bridge too far. Its so easy to send a fella off for something he alledgedly said. Who can prove he did or didnt say anything. The guy is a fucking gowl.
