From a Spurs board :

According to fans in the front rows at the Paxton Road end, 'JT', having been bundled over in the Spurs five yard box turned to Ledley King and said 'Fuck off you lippy monkey'. Cue Spurs black players going batshit and Poll sending Terry off for dubious foul play, which he was - uncharacteristically - only too happy to accept. Football media have been a bit slow on this one it seems...

They showed it on Match of the day 2 on Sunday night, and it didnt look like he said that bit at the end, he said Fuck off alright but I doubt he said that to King at all, Probably Just some drunk fan in the pub after the game adding a bit to the story....

I had heard it before this though and it's only the black Spurs players that were irate.

When I saw the initial reaction of Chimbonda and Zakora (I think), I presumed it was something racial that got them that incensed. Wright Philips didnt look overly impressed with him either.

of course not, their new darling captain couldn't possibly be a racialist.

Yes, the Wright Phillips angle is particularly interesting. He looked quite aggrieved.

Bingo. And that's why there'll be no more about it. Disgraceful really. Up there with letting Shearer kick people in the head.

Does anyone here seriously believe that they would cover up this story if it were true. This would be a huge money spinner for the Sun. I suggest somebody drop them a line

The only way it'll make the papers is if King confirms it. Too open to interpretation. Same reason why Hartson & Pearson never made the papers for their version of the Fields - inconclusive evidence.

It's too early Lamps, his grace period hasn't passed yet.

The word on the street is that Terry is an absolute prick, this sounds just like him, while believe it or not, Lampard is meant to be sound out

if he was a few years into his captaincy, they'd go for the jugular. but they have to build him up to legendary status before busting him back down again.

After what happened in the Nou Camp last week you'd think Terry would have more sense. There was wholesale monkey chanting going on at Essien and Drogba allegedly.

Those Catalan morons, how do they think their own players of African heritage feel?

Anyone who resorts to this level should be banned from the game for life. Their season tickets should be confiscated, and they should be told they are not wanted. It needs to be stamped out, it's disgusting. But when you have the likes of John Terry doing it, then what hope is there? If he did say what is alleged in this thread, then he should be severely punished.

If he has said it Ledley King should say it. Especially with Fifa trying to make a show of racists

I reckon Terry would pull a leaf out of Shearer's book then with the FA. Who is to say he hasn't already and that's why King has kept it quiet.

Then that would be a whole lot more serious. "English FA in racism cover up"

King(right surname and all) would be a hero
