Does anyone know of /Has anyone been to a good New Year's Eve Ball in recent years?

Looking for something blak tie or just really dressy in general but with a good atmosphere too......

Not sure if its your cup of tea but Freakscene have a new year's ball every year. Black tie is encouraged and a Frank Sinatra impersonator sings in the new year.

It was excellent last year but its not for everyone!

I'm not sure i think it's more like if someone is trying to fool you with fancy clothes check their shoes and they'll be scruffy ....or something... old wives tale.

But you can tell cetain types like boating shoe types etc.....
