Extreme frisbee.

I've noticed with some of the fine crisp autumn morning we've had, especially at weekends, that the hills and fields around Cork seem to be alive with the sounds of happy people playing extreme frisbee. It seems to be happening in large groups on a very organized level. I think American-based companies use these gatherings a lot as sort of team-building excercises.

They're easily recognisable - lots of people shouting and giving each other high-fives, with people on the sides practicising their cheerleading skills. They have chants like "Gimme a one, gimme a two, gimme a three, gimme a fris-bee!"

What do people think of this popular Cork pastime? Pesonally, nothing warms the cockles of my heart more than the sight of happy people lounging about, smoking, drinking ginger pop, and floating frisbees to each other, just as our ancestors did.
