Unbelieveable.
Just unbelieveable.
If Stephen Kenny takes over at the Pars he could be in charge for their game at Ibrox this weekend. Another team going there with a point to prove.

This may seem like a crazy point to some here, but surely a shite Rangers team can only be a bad thing for Scottish Football.

Yes, you are correct Forsberg, but it is a tonic to be getting run closer by the Jambo's than rangers. And a good rangers and Celtic side in the same season, as in well-matched, hasn't been seen for a while now.

No I agree completely. I'd rather it were more competitive but I have no problem with it because I doubt it's long term. I'll enjoy it while it lasts though.
Hibs for the cup now I reckon with Hearts, Celtic & Rangers gone.

No I don't think so. Any sacking of Le Guen would severely dent the next manager's transfer budget and as Murray is looking to sell I can't see him sacking. I think Le Barnes will be pushed.
EDIT: Nice to see O'Dea netting one yesterday. He came on for Balde who broke his leg and is out for a few months. Horrible thing to happen and poor timing for him as he was off to Villa in Jan it seemed. Speedy recovery hopefully. Anyone see Naka's equaliser? Lovely unexpected chip of the keeper.

He was never going to win in a battle against a fans favourite. It would have been different if they had been on top of the league or something but the fans were already turning on him before this.
I predicted on another forum that this might be the straw that broke the camels back and it has proved so.
Also wouldn't rule out the fact that he engineered it himself to get out of a bad situation to free him up for the PSG job.

To be honest, as soon as I heard about the fall out with Ferguson I was positive he was trying to get himself into a situation where he could walk away. Now he can say that he didn't have the support of the players and that he was undermined by his captain and that is why he failed so badly. He'll probably come up trumps again now somewhere else. No one abroad pays too much attention to Scottish Football i'd say so he'll still be able to live off his Lyon stay. He'll probably land a decent job on the continent (PSG as you said) and both him and Rangers can put this atrocious spell behind them. The only bad thing from Celtic's point of view is that whoever comes in will have no pressure on them and can spend the rest of the season rather than just a summer pretty much building towards a challenge in 07-08. -AmadeusDC-

Rumour has it Walter Smith and Ally McCoist were in Ibrox today. If they were to take over Tommy Burns could end up taking over as fulltime Scotland coach.

it'd probably be mccoist as manager with smith as 'adviser' like dalglish/paisley at liverpool in 86, leaving smith free to continue with scotland.

Dowie,
Souness,
McCoist,
Butcher,
Gough - heard he's in line.

Yeah meant to update this.
Ian Durrant is in charge for the weekend and Bazza is still dropped as captain.
I reckon Clement, Lietzi and Sionko will follow Le Guen out the door.
They'll join Monday I'd say.

No. He'll stay if the cardigan gets the job alright.
Rangers captain shouldn't be acting the way he is anyway. He completely undermined Le Guen who was in the process of changing everything there. He was too disciplined and the Scottish contingent rallied against him, led by Barry himself. Split in the dressing room, Le Guen pulled rank and then Barry got Murray to do a bit of the old you-scratch-my-back-I'll-scratch-yours and now Smith is back in.
Still, more of this. Can't understand a word but it's funny nonetheless.

Definitely-though I'd like to see Zurawski back in the same form he was last season.
Miller has had his chance and his strike rate is a fucking bad joke. Though I reckon he could do a job on the right of a 4-3-3 or even as a right winger, bring him on if we're winning a tight game with 15 minutes to go and he'll keep the opposition busy.
I'd also like to see Jarosik get a run of games in midfield.

Spot on. Absolutely spot on about him - my thoughts exactly.
Hope he starts playing Riordan up front and not on the left. Would like to see Gravesen pushing on now - his form's not been great. Stokes gone to Charlton by all accounts.

Clement is the only Le Guen signing that's done reasonably well. I've got a friend who's a scout who's been impressed with jim when he's seen him. Not your typical French player, he has a bit of steel about him and keeps things neat and tidy. He's looked alright whenever I've seen him myself.
If he goes it won't be anything to do with performances.

Looks like he's learned a trick or two from McLeish.
