Got married in Lanza over the summer, went rewally well. Only bad thing to say, Bulmers, or Magners as our foreign friends call it, was an absolute rip off there. Stayed around the corner from a bar called Keanes, as in Roy, so being a true Corkonian went to Roy's for all the world cup games. 5.50 euro for Magners, but paid it and enjoyed every bottle. Went to an English chipper for a munch second last night there and paid 4 euro for a bottle in an English bar next to it. Nothing worse than being ripped off by your own!

I was over there last week and I couldnt believe the price opf the drink in some of the places.
Moral of the story - stay a mile clear from Irish Pubs, they are always the most expensive.

I was there twice. Classy set up and those beds are unbelievably comfortable. Dont leave your flip flops on though, your man goes loopy.

You do realise the vast majority of these "Irish" pubs abroad are not even owned by Irish people.
Anyway, whats the hooker situation like in Lanzarote?
