Check out the Attaturk Stadium, Istanbul. Home of the best European Cup final comeback of all time ;-)

seconded!

Also probably the worst location for a european final ever. And i'm including the song contest.

The Blue mosque is very impressive fella. Walk along the bank of the bosphorous. Also, See if you can take in a besiktas match - city centre, hostile atmosphere etc.

I suggest the Topkapi Palace, The Hagia Sophia, The Blue Mosque, The Grand Bazaar (but don't buy anything there - the collector's stuff will be in the old horse-stables bazaar below the blue mosque). There are many other mosques to visit if you like Iznik Tilework - I went specifically to see the tilework as I am a collector. Great rugs in the museums if you are interested. The old Byzantine Hippodrome is great also. If you can't stay at the Four Seasons (and you should, you should), go in for a drink or a meal, it is right between Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace, and behind the Blue Mosque. Built out of an old political prison, it is a unique spot to stay, and very luxurious. Istanbul is one of the great cities of the world and often overlooked.
