Sun holidays are definitely not my cup of tea. Firstly, I've the skin of a milk bottle, so it's not only sun burn that I get, but the accompanying rash and blisters as well which just makes it uncomfortable. Secondly, I've not a great fan of the sea etc so swimming is ruled out. Thirdly, I'm not very good and just lying by the beach and doing nothing, I need to explore etc, of which there isn't much to do when you are in a sun resort.

However, I think the worst sun resort you could go to is one where you end up meeting half the people you know. It's like when yuo are a in Youghal during the summer - guaranteed to meet at least four people you know. It's a right bummer - you go on holidays to get away from people you know. Well maybe that's just me.

Agree with you on two of the three.

I'm very pale too, so in July or August, the south of France is the furthest I'd go. I managed to get burned north of the Arctic Circle in Finland last year, so I really can burn anywhere.

I also can't just lie on a beach. Maybe an hour reading a book, but after that I have to get up and do something.

I do love going into a warm sea though.

Northern Siberia in early january would probably be up there as the worst destination for a sun holiday...

Haven't been on what you could term a sun holiday for well over a decade. Don't intend to neither.

Horrible concept.
