I saw it there on Saturday. It's pretty interesting and the sending off is prescient. It's an education to see his economy of movement off the ball and how he reads the game.
Be aware though, that it is one guy followed for 90 minutes.

I am looking forward to seeing it, I was at the game live at the time, didnt know that it was the subject of a movie till now.
Got a pal from Madrid to record the game anyhow as it was on tv over there.
So I have a bootleg version of the film (as such).
Delighted it is a game he was sent off in, will open a few eyes avbout him. He had a temper on him.
Have a good photo of Beckham lining up a free kick in the game. In the shot are him, Owen, Raul, (fat) Ronaldo, and Zizou. A wealth of attacking options. And Michel Salgado sneaking up the wing as he does.
..watched the first half of this the other day. ...very good show.
He was carrying a bit of weight even then, ..very noticable when himself and Fat Ronaldo were standing about scratching. ..as they often do.
He doesn't say much during a game, there's very little communication, ..the only bit so far was telling the ref he should be ashamed of himself for giving a penalty to Villareal.
He drags his feet like a show horse.

The last truly great player.

Your suspicions are correct. I'm taking the piss. This is the sports forum, no one gives a shit what records you have. If you want to talk about vinyl fuck off to the music forum.

It's still a bit bizarre.
..hardly a single word leaves his mouth throughout the play.
..and football is usually all about verbals between the players.

Your only fooling yourself. Your claim to have mogwai on vinyl had absolutely nothing to do with thread. It was a failed attempt to impress whatever type of idiot cares what format your music is on. I've seen your type a thousand times. I wouldn't be surprised if you have posted a picture of your decks somewhere in this forum.

I have the DVD as a matter of fact.
But you owning two of the songs on vinyl has nothing to do with the movie. It's glaringly obvious what your intent was.

A DVD is 14 times more impressive than a outdated bit of black plastic.

he got pwned 5 posts later.
anyhow, you still havent told me why you hate arsenal so much
..watched the second half of this last night.
I thought Pepe Reina was caught badly out of position for Villareal for the two Madrid goals..
Other than that a good show, ..even if Mogwai did create a few headaches near the end.
Interesting that from the extras one of the directors could sense at half time what was about to happen in the World Cup final the following year, ..given their studies of his moods.
