-AmadeusDC-Heh heh heh, you regarded LD as a Liverpool fan (possibly a deliberate faux-pas???). He'll absolutely love that!!!

Nah, I didn't even look at who wrote it to be honest. Usually I'll read a post and reply (if I have an opinion on it) but I pay more attention to what's being said than who's saying it. I do this because I find that many of the people on here change their views or arguments quite a lot just because they have an ongoing "feud" with another user across a number of threads. This bugs me quite a bit.
Other than StevieG with ManU, MON with Celtic, Naff/Jack with Arsenal, the class edjit with West Ham and maybe HeeAirO with Real I can't say that I associate too many of the posters on here with their respective teams. Lots of the others are obviously for various clubs once you read what they are saying but it isn't the first thing that comes to mind when I see their name in a thread. -AmadeusDC-

Surely he's more the new Peter Crouch what with his difficulty getting off the mark in the league after a move from a smaller club?

Plus he isn't injured.

Poor metaphor.

Bellamy's found it hard settling in so far, very far from the player I remember at Celtic (and glimpses seen at Blackburn & Newcastle). His miss the other week shows a guy lacking in confidence and the guy is a confidence player. When he comes good he'll be brilliant, give him time.

I'll swap Kenny Miller for him if anyone's interested.

GODDAMMIT WE DONT HAVE TIME!

still though if he's not scoring he shouldnt be playing ahead of crouch. this will obviously lead to more low confidence but its the lack of goals that are screwing liverpool

its the lack of goals that are screwing liverpool

and the leaking of loads of goals, and the general crappyness of the midfield area.

he seems to be having trouble adjusting alright.

I said at the time of his transfer to the pool that he reminded me of a Kewell type a guy who will do well at your smaller clubs {Celtic aside:)} but would struggle under the spotlight of a bigger club.

His confidence looks shot at the mo'. Iv always admired Bellamy as player but he doesnt seem to be cutting the mustard for the pool. I know its early days yet but can he already be compared to Harry, a fantastic talent that just didnt seem to be able to do the business at Anfield?

The form strikers should be playing. Crouch does well and then dropped. What incentive has a player to do well when he's going to be dropped the next game. The reason guys try and play well is to keep their counterparts out of the side.

He may not be the new Harry Kewell, but hes the new Welsh captain (what an example to the younger players). Obviously this only temporary because of Giggs' abscence.
