2.00pm - Snackbox and chips so I can last the full 70 minutes
2.15pm - Lash on the vaseline
2.30pm - Pull on the O'Neills size 40 shorts
2.31pm - Insert 2 Cummins sliotars into said shorts
3.00pm - Few stretches in the dressing room
3.10pm - Burst out onto the field. Pass out Pat Mulchahy on the sprint down to the Hill. Will give a few ridiculous leaps into the air on the way down and top it off by giving the goal posts a few lashes ala Davy Fitz
3.20pm - Soak up the atmosphere from the fans - "Sulli's gonna get ya"
3.20pm - Parade- stare Noel Hickey out of it for entire trip around the park
3.29pm - Gorta extends hand - I extend shoulder
3.30pm - Throw-in
3.34 pm - Kilkenny free from their own 65. Stand behind Gorta and drive his helmet up at the back and therefore down over his eyes with my hurl.
3.40pm - Collect ball and drive it 100yards downfield to tumultuous rebel roar.
3.50pm - Collect ball and charge out. Shoulder all six KK forwards out of way and clear down field. Memories of 2004.
3.55pm - Undo straps of Gorta's helmet. Gimp in white coat reports me to the young lad with the whistle and I get booked. I don't reply when I asked my name
4.08 pm Half time. Chicken nuggets and diet Pepsi (I am an athlete after all)
4.30pm - Give a class handpass back to Donal Og. Must clear space on the mantlepiece for All Star.
4.42pm - I have just changed Gorta to Gortaithe. He is replaced.
4.45pm - KK move some other dude on me. Tall fellow with green helmet. Don't know him
4.46pm - It all starts to go wrong for me.
5.00pm - Match over. We lost but I really could do with a few sambos
