Idd agree with that ........ if we had snatched an undeserved win yesterday theyd be all saying how fantastic they were ..... everyone should get behind the team ..... you win some you lose some !!!!

Timmy McCarthy is part of that. He played fantastic in the semi final. That's short memories.

an average of three good performances in 34 over seven years of intercounty hurling is not a short memory not by any stretch of the imagination.

Well said Langer Dan. I don't think these people represent anything close to the majority. Most people in town last night were disappointed but realistic. We failed to do a three in a row - something other teams couldn't even comprehend.

No doubt.
We'll be back next year, and the oh so vocal minority will be nowhere to be heard.

I'm never reading another Hurling-themed topic in the Langers Forum. Sheer, unadulterated mockery.

quite simply, kilkenny did deserve it, they did their homework, they had a plan and a stronger determination, but for all their possesion, for all the talk, it was still one goal between them, a goal they were lucky to get. bens goal at the end showed that had cork changed their own style how weak kilkenny were at the back, a lot weaker than cork. but you can be sure next year will be a cork kilkenny final, and then it will be kilkenny with their backs to the wall.
