The midfield is shite. Kilbane, O'Shea and Reid in the centre of the park? How will they cope with Ballack and Frings and Schwiensteiger? And is Finnan really playing left back. This team is shite and we will get trounced. Sorry about you tenner mate. This is the worst Ireland squad for 20 years. We just have no players. We even had to call up Sean St Ledger a man who has never been to Ireland was born and bred in Birmingham and playes for Preston. FFS, what an embarasment.

Did ya hear the post match interview wih stan? I couldn't hear i exactly but from what i did make out he did appeared to say was something along the line of it being a great result. I think he was especially proud of the back 4. Granted they didn't concede 3 or 4 but still you can be proud all you want of those fuckers.
If i had to level one criticism against ireland tonight, it would be that they lacked imagination

i agree totally.take kevin doyle out of the team and it would've been batten down the hatches for the full 90 mins. there was a lot of sloppy passes as well as holding onto the ball too long and losing possession. o shea and kilbane being the guilty ones.

How is losing anything but a bad result, stupid thing to say.

A draw would have been a great result away against that team, a win would have been outstanding. Dunphys going to be on the warpath again in the sunday rags.
