er ever heard of Glasgow Rangers fella? Thats a massive generalisation. The same could be said of any teams supporters. How about GAA fans are some of the most hateful narrow minded anti english fans that you will meet in Ireland. The cap fits me thinks. Get a grip mate.

Look lad im not a hammer, im an evertonian, have been since i was 6. Im not here championing west ham or any other club. I live in the UK, so im outside the football goldfish bowl of cork's man utd, liverpool and probably the new chelsea 'fans' remit. Once outside you get a better sense of perspective on real football, i watch teams like stockport, bury, macclesfield every few weeks as they're in my area and its a lot better than sitting in watching the box every week. Football is a game for all teams. The team 'feeder club' is utter bollocks.

funny that, seeing as west ham have 3 massive supporters clubs in ireland, and in the 2 years i've been there, sometimes wearing my irish rugby jersey, i've had fuck all racism directed at me (and i'v played football with a couple of the ICF)

The term feeder club is one of the cornerstones of modern soccer parlance.
West Ham are what I would have called a floating feeder club, relegation sell everyone, build a nice little team, get back up, motor along for a few years, sell a few players to the big boys, relegation, etc etc

This is their lot in life. They are below the likes of Everton and Villa in the food chain but above Watford. Now that they have taken the Roman shilling l, I would term floating sellout feeder club.

Maybe so, but it pains me to see every football club now defined by monetary value, history now counts for nothing. Chelsea are a nothing team in my eyes, anyone over the age of 20 will remember the dodgy car park behind the goals at a half empty stamford bridge when chelsea were a laughing stock. I may be a hopeless football purist but Chelsea are an afront to the beautiful game and the sooner mr A's assets are frozen, the better.

And that's exactly why it was fantastic to see Barca beat Chelsea last season. I don't think anyone is basing West Ham comments in a monetary sense though. I do think that Lame thinks that they're going to go onto a period of global domination though in which case he's deluding himself. Ironically, history denotes that.

Chelsea would be in the Everton/Villa category, top divsion mainstays, though historically less successful.
I would never deny this. I call a spade a spade

erm no, ever been to east London? East London has a strong Irish community; ever since Ford opened their Factory in Dagenham there has been a flood of Irish people moving here, myself being one of them.

I think you are confused with Millwall fans. Not to far from West Ham.

ps welcome bantry blue nice to see another west cork lad here.
