depends on what one you want 1.6 , 2.8 or 3.0 no more than 4k for one with a functioning engine and well maintained shell/paint.
pros - they are iconic
cons - the list is endless most notably that they are dangerous.

2.0lt Lazer, like new inside and out should go for only 3k.
There was a sweet one out in the Viaduct last week.
The Ford biys were out there. Nice few Escorts out there too.
There were two old Ford vans. Lol, class lookin' yolks.

Capri doesnt even show up on they're online vrt system, but i thought that you have to pay VRT regardless of age..

Get one old enough and you should be able to get "classic insurance" on it....you may be talking 50 euro tax,and 350/400 for insurance for the year...

As far as i know, you have to be over 25 (he's only 24) AND have another car which you use for day-to-day use to get classic insurance.

I'm pretty sure it's 23. Found all this stuff out when I wanted a classic, and it was a capri I was tempted towards.

Well ring tomorrow and you'll find out.
You should still be able to insure it, but not as classic insurance.
