The way I see it, I'd prefer Kilkenny hammering Clare in the semi-final. It would be better for us in the final as Kilkenny would be unsure about any weakness, which would be exposed by a 'better' team.
Can't see Clare shocking Kilkenny. If they do, then Cork will overpower them quite easily.

I think IŽd like to see both teams play out about 13 successive high-scoring draws. And then have us trounce one of them by about 100 points. Can anyone arrange that?

frank is on the case.
but as i see it kilkenny will hit them for six. clare haven't met any prpoer tem since they played cork. their forwards are awful and the midfiled is slow. advantange kilkenny.

CORK have cleared the way for a clear run to next month's three-in-a-row bid with the cancellation of all club matches involving their hurlers.
A full round of championship hurling fixtures was scheduled for next weekend. But after strong representations from the players on the train back to Cork on Sunday evening last, it has been agreed to call off all games.
It gives John Allen and his management team four interrupted weeks of preparation to land that third successive All-Ireland title. Allen was adamant on Monday that the games should not go ahead and his wish was granted by the Cork GAC yesterday.

You could say equally well that Kilkenny haven't played a tough game all year, Cork have been in 2 in the last month. Clare might well upset KK and will give them a tough game, hard to see past KK though.

ive had a funny feeling the past few weeks that clare will beat kilkenny so much so ive put a few euro on it but i dont know why really, think its more in hope than anything else, think it would be better for cork to play kilkenny as they wouldnt be hot favourites as they would should it be the banner they meet in the final.
I think people are underestimating Clare.
Kilkenny haven't played a decent team all year. Galway were awful the last day.
It'll be close, thats for certain.

Kilkenny should have enough to beat Clare, but we should beat either of them in the final...we have good momentum, two tough games behind us and we could cut loose in the final...would be great if Naughton came on and made an impact again!!

We rode our luck in the QF and SF winning by only the narrowest of margins

We never looked like losing the Limerick game and Waaaherfurt are good side. In terms of focus and adequate preparation, I'd take our run to the final over KKs any day of the week

you can never say for certain that you will beat Kilkenny. They've a good young side put together this year,I'd be very wary of them. Think Clare will run them close sunday, if they can get a grip of the game like they did against Cork last year they may well finish the job this time, but a good start is crucial for them

Kilkenny haven't really been tested yet the way Cork have. We've beaten Limerick, Clare, Tipp and Waterford. All big teams.
Kilkenny have beaten Galway, Wexford and (drum roll)...Westmeath. Shit teams.
Its very hard to call the Kilkenny Vs Clare game but whoever wins will have to raise their game again for Cork.

How can you call Galway a Shit team man .It is nearly the same team that gave us one Hell of a Game in last years Final

They might have been the same people, but they were nowhere near the same team.

thats a fair enough point but I think Kilkenny would beat both Tipp and Limerick out the gate and could account for Waterford aswell. It would be stupid of us to think that just because we've had the tougher run that we're automatically going to beat Kilkenny. The championship just doesnt work like that, and Kilkenny have an incredible array of talented hurlers to call upon.

As Ben O' Connor said recently: "We don't do panic".
All part of the plan biy.

I'd say the Banner will beat them. That means we'll have to face that tosser Davy Fitz and that ignoramus Anthony Daly in the final.
