Yeah - I'd say PROC will be a quiet old place for those 4 days but we'd better log in from the various festival locations to keep those who can't make it up to date.

we don't all have 4 months off per summer - where we can spend 4 or 5 weeks at home - or where we can fly midweek. as it is - weekend flights home are expensive in august. the longer we leave it - the more expensive it's going to get.

To be honest, when you reach 75 the chances you are pissing and shitting in your pants every day is quite likely. The less time I spend doing that the better. I want out well before that happens.

Nothing to do with being lazy. Stress kills. It's a fact. And if you get stressed out because your mates don't want to choose a weekend five months down the line, then you should try to change a few things.

finner - being organised, planning things in advance and getting out of bed before midday isn't stressing - it is actually quite useful if you want to get things done. my summer isn't going to consist of sitting around everyday watching tv and going to the pub in the evening - and available at the drop of a hat to meet up with my mates. i'm doing several other things this summer including taking two weeks holidays in august - i would have liked to organised these two weeks so that they wouldn't clash with a weekend everyone was free for the summerfest - as i would have liked to have made it this year.

Have plenty on this Summer myself. And if you think that all I do is watch tv and go to the pub then you're on another one of your pretending to be simpy rants. You do realise that my job also involves research don't you? Best time to get this done is the Summer when not teaching. stop stressing finabloid - you'll live longer.

btw - you can't have your cake and eat it.

you talk about how you work 8 hours a week and sleep everyday to lunchtime - and then you try and convince us that you're so busy that you need to take your 3 months off in the summer to do all your "research".

all i was asking was if you guys could let me know when you were available in the summer for the summerfest as i need to book flights - and would like to do that sooner rather than late. if you're still sore about the fizz and gerard depardoo thing - then that's your problem and not mine - but it's probably worth having a serious think about things if that's what's really bugging you.

you say that cos you're only 6 months from 30....

hahaha - no, i'm actually not really that bothered about turning 30 (possibly because i haven't given it a great deal of thought) - actually never felt better. although, have noticed i've got one grey hair. and a couple of greys in the beard when it gets a little long.

30 is a walk in the park... a park filled with older (sluttier) chicks

i'd say you'd be well capable of some good sleazing on your own if it came down to it - a solo bobfest dressed as bjorny would be pretay funny.. :)

i don't think it would be the end of the world if i was on my own there.

but i don't really like drinking on my own. guess i'd have to make some friends.

yeah the first 5 minutes in the pub might be a bit crap

have gone out a few times on my own (when away on work etc.) - think the problem is getting the energy right. when you're boozing on your own your energy levels are quite low - as you're just thinking about things yourself. rather than when you're with a bob - and your brain is automatically thinking about funny things to do and say... i think the key is to get in the right frame of mind before you go for a few bevvies...

yeah it's crap going out on your own in Ireland or the UK but in scandi sluts will just start approaching you after a while anyway

I wore a normal t-shirt with a pocket on it on Friday:

"Hi bird. Can I ask you a question?"
"OK"
"Is my tshirt very ghey?"
"No, why?"
"Because it has a vagina on it, look" *puts fingers in and out of tshirt pocket*
