So we did it again. But why oh why do Cork make their fans live on tenderhooks game after game. One of these days we will get caught out. We all hope we can stay going, but being honest about ourselves is another advantage we have. Like the Tipp & Limerick games, we could have got caught out. Ok we didn't but how long more can we keep going. I watched the video of the full match when I got home and was pleasantly suprised to see Cyril Farrell saying that no one is giving Cork credit for actually winning these games. Good point baldy, Loughnane was blubbering about unlucky Waterford the cunt. The one thing that stands out over this seasons games is that we never panic and that is standing to us more and more. As regards our players, I was delighted for Donal Og Cusack, a fucking legend. This morning I read that he uses special red contact lenses to help him see the white sliothar. I wonder will the fucking GAA (umpires/refs) take those off him as he attempts to puck out a ball. But he deserved man of the match. Brilliant. Great game by Timmy McCarthy and Brian Corcoran as well as Naughton. but after them, we start going downhill. Joe Deane tried, at least we can depend on him to put over free's, but we may bring him more into the game. Mulcahy and Murphy were solid at the back, but the rest were average or as in the case of Sully, getting fucking worse with every game. I love Sully, he inspires a load of team mates and fans as well. But reputations can be quickly exposed and lost on a hurling pitch, and Sully has lost his. he looks heavy, slow and out of sorts every match he plays. highlight of the day for me was watching a blubbering John (knacker head) Mullane at the end of the game. At least if we dont win it, we stopped that cunt getting a medal again this year.

Yes Donal Og was great yesterday. As was Cathal Naughton, Timmy Mac, Curran and the Legend. In previous games Gardiner has been the man, or the O'Connors or Brian Murphy or Deane. The list goes on.
That's why Cork are a great team. Most counties rely on a core of three or four star players, who if they don't perform cause the team to stuggle.

I know which one i'd prefer

Forget three or four, Tipp have flattered to deceive with a one man attack for a number of seasons now

Once again John Allen and his selectors made the right call. Just like last year when they brought on Ronan against Clare, this time the introduction of Naughton saved us from defeat.
They had the balls to take off a legend like Corcoran last year, this time they had the balls to take off a guy who had scored 3 points.
Nothing against Donal O Grady, he did win us an All-Ireland after all but he would never have made those kind of decisions (in my opinion).

IMO They took off the wrong guy. Ben was appauling and they didn't have the balls to take him off.
