Does anyone know when was the last time a team did this?

The last time it occurred in hurling was when Galway reached four successive finals in '85, '86, '87, and '88.

i think galway had to play some quarterfinals some years, but sure it wouldve been against some connaght shite so they might as well. before that its kilkenny 71-75 im lead to believe

No idea. All I know is that they were the last team to appear in four consecutive finals.

No Munster team has done it since the Cork 4-in-a-row team of the 40's.

And it's tougher to get into an All-Ireland final now than it's ever been. We genuinely are living through a mini-Golden Age for Cork hurling - on days like today we ought to step back for a minute and appreciate it. And then start hassling people for finals tickets. Obviously.

yeah. against antrim or roscommon. this cork team have earned it the hard way.

hard's right! waterford didn't half have the ref playing for a draw. cork-not even the gaa can stop them!
