Well I don't know about anyone else but after a year of not kicking the ball I am aching all over but thoroughly enjoyed the match!
We almost exceeded our maximum number of foreigners on the pitch at anyone one time when Naff called for a Chinese takeaway at half time and the driver ended up staying for the second half!
I think I might do a little comical write up each week unless it's met with huge objection or some legal wranglings prevent me to (Graham let me know!)
Also making his long awaited return after six months in goal (cos he thought Naff had banned him!) was little Mark and he might as well have stayed in the car!! Bless him - it's not easy being a goalkeeper at 2'3'' but he gave it his best!
At the end of the game it was determined that we had lost by 2 goals but I think everyone lost count so haven't a scooby what the actual final score was.
I was just delighted to put a free kick curler in the top right hand corner against the little fella in the warm up - shame that was my only long distance target for the next hour and a half.
Notable absentee was Terry and Dec although Deccy has a pretty solid alibi
