I've had a change of heart after having to listen to it on the web last week, and I'm filled with a bit of renewed confidence that for once we may send the sheep shaggers packing. Cork by a few points. Losing Lynch is a big blow but if Billy can get the mentality right and the players now believe they can actually beat Kerry, then the match is ours for the winning.Hopefully a big cork crowd will turn out. Get down there and support the lads on sunday if ye can!

can anybody confirm for me that its not live on tv sunday and I'll have to enjoy the company of Paudie Palmer and Finbarr McCarthy on www.103fm.ie again this week?

As a matter of interest, what happens if your tickets don't arrive after booking them with that ticketmaster shower? Like they get held up in the post or something. Will they be held down there on the day too?

Also, why is the cheapest ticket for the replay €25? We got our O' Connor terrace tickets for €20 the last day. And then you add the ridiculous €2.95 (per ticket!) online surcharge. Those ticketbastard fuckers are creaming it.

Seriously though, if we can match them for intensity and not shrivel up like has happened in the past, and a few more of our forwards take the scoring responsibility off of Masters, then anything is possible, come on the rebels!

To be honest wit ja I would like to have a reliable source but it was TV3 sports tonight programme (hardly reliable) and on rebel gaa website ( a little more reliable).

Dont think anything is official yet but hopefully it is but to be fair it will be a P.R diaster for the gaa with our disiplinery system once again been shown up.But sure we'll have to wait to see if theres any confirmation.

Ordered them Tuesday night, got them in the post on Thursday morning. They can be efficient when they want to be, eh?

And I'm one to be moaning about Ticketmaster, when I was the one straight onto their website knowing full well that you could get tickets on the day or at Páirc Uí Rinn for less. Still, I might get outraged enough one of these days to go to the extra trouble for the sake of saving €2.95. The GAA should sell direct online, using the web as an opportunity to sell more tickets, rather than outsourcing the operation to a shower of mercenary bastards.

Can't believe Lynch got off, but we'll have him tomorrow. How bad!

Apparently your man Donoghy had some sending off from earlier on in the year also, and that's why he's suspended for tomorrow.

Good thing they're putting up the licence fee.
In all fairness now, they would have settled on the Connaught and Leinster Finals a long time ago. They were not for moving. If they had a third station I'm sure they would have shown the (unexpected) Munster Final replay too. As it is, they've decided to use the internet to broadcast it, which was better than I'd been expecting, and they even advertised it well!

Also, for the Laois-Meath match today the analysts were Tony Davis and Dara Ó Cinnéide, and they gave a fair amount of hype to the Cork-Kerry match. Laois were unreal, by the way, and should go far. Can't wait to see the draw for the next round of the qualifiers. Longford beat Derry too, which was a turn up for the books. It's an interesting championship. Leinster football looks strong.

I don't think they can really be faulted on this one. (RTÉ do lots of really bad things too.)

up the rebels!!

Cork 1-12 Kerry 0-9

James Masters drove Cork on to their first Munster SFC title win since 2002 as he hit 1-6 in the Pairc Ui Chaoimh replay.

The Nemo Rangers forward was again the class act as Billy Morgan’s side ended Kerry’s three-year dominance in the province.

In front of a disappointing attendance of 23,693, Masters netted in the first half to help the Rebels go in at the break with a 1-04 to 0-05 buffer.

Kerry, who replaced five of their starting forwards, got back to within two points, but tellingly, it was the Kingdom’s fourth championship game without scoring a goal.

Brilliant alright. James Masters's goal seemed to happen in slow motion, and was orgasmic when it came. Apart from Kerry getting on top for 15 minutes or so in the second half, Cork basically hammered them off the Páirc. Their forwards were better than ours, but they weren't given a chance to play. Unreal work-rate out of the lads on a roasting hot day.

Brilliant day to be a rebel. There's a consistency about the Cork play now...
