We've added clean sheets, price falls and the number of times a player has been transferred in the Gameweek to the player statistics. The amount of time used to calculate form has been increased to 30 days.

Predictions is a funny business. I remember there about three years ago on the bbc website, mark lawernson used to do score predictions for the weekend games. For the first two weeks, he got most them more or less spot on. third week i said i would a little cash into mark's predictions. Needless to say it went all tits up from then on.........langer.

i had no chelsea players aswell but out of fear ive gone with the one midfielder who cost me dearly last year cos i didnt have him...no prizes for guessing who. had to chop and change though to fit him in.

Well he has actually had two pretty good seasons now. He gets goals and he creates, i am not convinced about blackburn though, if his side are not playing well then it will obviously make it harder for him

I'd be wary of buying any central midfielders from Chelsea with the dearth of quality they have there. Ballack won't be on the bench all season, and will Lamps be worth the cash if he's missing every 5th game?

How Fantasy Cup Works

Each Fantasy Premier League team entered before Gameweek 18 will be randomly drawn against another in the first round. The winner (the team with the highest score in the Gameweek), will progress to the second round and another random draw, the losers are out! This process continues until the final Gameweek when the two remaining teams contest the FPL Fantasy Cup final.

If a cup match is drawn, then the following tie-breaks will be applied until a winner is found:

1. Most goals scored in the Gameweek
2. Fewest goals conceded in the Gameweek
3. Virtual coin toss

Any transfer points deductions won't be applied to your cup score.
