Pat Power, and Tom Moran (of Moran Hotels, owners of the Red Cow and Silversprings) have pulled out of the consortium which Niall Quinn had assembled in an attempt to buy Sunderland for £16 Million.
The other six investors in the consortium have not indicated what their future plans are as of yet.
As Sunderland is a PLC the two investors have not made their decision to withdraw public as of yet, and are not prepared to go on the record for fear of damaging the bids prospects, but they are definitely not involved in the bid anymore.
