"About midway through the first half I saw what I would consider to be the best goal ever scored at Pairc Ui Chaoimh. A fast ball came across the square at an angle and roughly at head height. In a flashing moment Deane connected and scored an amazing goal. How he had the vision and speed of movement to get his stroke in to hit this goal, I will never know. The fact that he was completely surrounded by opponents made it all the more remarkable." Justin McCarthy writes about the goal Deano got in the Intermediate final in 1998.
Great goal ,thank fuck we still beat them.
Any other great goals seen down the pairc?
I was at the 97 Munster final down there for Clare and Tipp, Clare got a savage goal that day and the captian made a savage speech after it

I am perfectly relaxed about using terms traditionally seen as anti homosexual slurs since I am of the impression that it is clear to all that such terms are so fucking ludicrous as to be laughably worthless. There is, of course, nothing wrong with gayness, and the opinion of anyone who thinks there is can be safely disregarded as the rambling of a fuckwit. But As a gay man, you should be condemning them in the very strongest terms.
Now as our existing resident shirt-lifter, you should be proud to be gay.
