Ask any Scotsman if he doesn't consider himself a foreigner living in England.
It's the English Premier league. Any Englishman living in Scotland is a foreigner and vice versa. If it were the British Premier League you'd have a point.

For the same reason SOME Scottish fans wave the tricolour. Some Rangers fans follow England but they're still not English.

"Top 10 Foreigners in premiership - the thread "
if in doubt check, with the Home Office what the term foreigner means.
Scots, Welsh etc are not deemed as foreigners, ..so when Giggs works at United with his National Insurance number etc... he's just not a foreigner.
...and everyone knows Wales are 'just Englands bitches' anyway.

Who doesn't deem them foreigners? The English?
How come they don't all qualify to play for England then if they don't belong to a separate country? Yes they'd qualify for British citizenship of course but they are not English. Tell Craig Bellamy he's English, tell Scott Brown he's English and wait for the reaction. As for the "England's bitches" comment...

Yep and the first one in the premiership for that matter.
Who doesn't deem them foreigners? The English?...
..their national government.

tell Craig Bellamy to go off and apply for a Welsh passport and let me know how he gets on.
they can qualify for England, any foreigner who gets a British passport can choose to play for any of the Home nations, players such as Grobelaar(sp) had a choice.
Thats why they call them 'the Home Nations' ...because they're not foreign, they're home-based.
