Watched it on TG4 : City absolutely woeful,no spirit, nervous at back and O'Donovan, a natural right-winger played mostly on left.As well, ground seemed to be almost empty.!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, Blarney only kept it scoreless for 2 minutes against Derry. It's still 1-0 after quarter of an hour.

Have been in Cork now for two years and have yet to see city play, how long does the season last and is it just friday evenings for matches?

if the longford centre half tried that volley another 20 times he wouldn't hit it as sweetly once.Awful way to go out, looked like nervous kids in the last 5 minutes after the penalty

Rico went a bit mental in the interview afterwards.
Anyone else hear it?

How did the defending champions get on?
Werent they playing some first division outfit.
Heard they only have one player in the team who is older that 25.

I'm not surprised - Twas a shite week , was up in derry to see the jammiest OG I've seen in 25 years watching football, then to go out like we did .Rico took the dressing room door off its hinges with a kick and then had a serious moan about the EL and the refs ( one which will have reprecusions )
I was right in line with the incident and in all honesty ,devine didn't make contact (altho cameras with the behind view make a strong case ),and there was a covering defender ( benno) but stokes once again fucked us over ...theres been a catalog of incidents ith him this year ...The worst of it on friday though was the persistant fouling which went unchecked ,then the first tackle fromcity and he produced a yellow ....Rico and the club will receive heavy fines/bans for it .The EL/Fai don't like being called fat arses on radio ...the difference with City is thatthey won't flaunt the bans like The rat fenlon did

Crazy crazy gut wrenching way to go out ...Now I feel like the Derry fans when georgie put away that penno last year ....dunno if you were one of the gang of us up there but when it went in the whole support deflated and just stared open mouthed while the dog food makers went wild .........knew from the minute the ball left ROD's boot where the ball was goona end up
