Era give it a rest y'eejit. It is perfectly possible to follow and be enthusiastic about both. I'll be in Cardiff on the 20th but with a bit of luck I'll be in Semple for the Clare game too (BH weekend in UK that weekend).
Does anyone know the story with tickets? I've checked ticketmaster and it says they aren't on sale there at the moment

I'm gonna presume Ben O'Connor will be injured for the first game, perhaps even longer.
Donal Og
Brian Murphy
Sully
Wayne Sherlock
John Gardiner
Ronan Curran
Sean Og
Tom Kenny
Jerry O'Connor
Cathal Naughton
Niall Mac
Timmy Mac
Joe Deane
Brian Corcoran
Neil Ronan
I've dropped Mulcahy purely because I think Sherlock is a better player,I know he'll play because he is captain but thats how i would line out,if Ben was fit, straight swap for Cathal Naughton. The team is settled and there won't be many major selection surprises.
emurf, do you Rate Ciaran McGann that highly? I've seen him in action, and while he's a fine hurler at club level,I don't think he has the speed of touch required for intercounty

They should be on sale there the week before the game. They'll probably be on sale down at Páirc Uí Rinn the weekend before (not much good to ya) but you should have no problem getting a ticket on the day either, if the first round match against Waterford last year was anything to go by.

I doubt there will be either but the league has given Allen food for thought and got some fringe players who might be called into action valuable experience.
I think there's little chance Curran will be dropped for Mulcahy. He got man of the match for his club last Sunday. I didn't see the game but Iron Claw was catching balls all over the place apparently. Its great to have Mulcahy on the bench though - I thought he was excellent against Cloyne in the county final.
I heard Newtown were playing Mulcahy in the half forward line - its nice to know there's a bit of pressure on Niall and Timmy "Fitz" - might get the full performance out them this year. If Ben's injury rules him out we'll need to have more fire power.
I know too little about McGann to judge him but I think having somebody like Corcoran on the field is very important for experience. They can sub him off after 60 if he hasn't got the legs and bring on Neil Ronan or Kieran Murphy (Erin's Own) to keep the opposing back line under pressure.
This might be harsh but I think Deane might be a weak link too - his free taking is good but its close range stuff. I think Deane wasn't much of a threat last year. He got some scores for Immokilly last weekend but they were trashed in the end.

Got the ticket off ticketmaster for that one. It's fierce handy from my perspective. Will keep an eye on it in the run up to the game

He can't play for Immokilly because Killeagh are senior
