Yes, unfortunately I can't prove it to ye cos I couldn't find any reference to it anywhere but my (female) primary school principal (no interest in soccer) overheard myself and a buddy talking about the world cup in 86. We obviously mentioned Jesper Olsen at which point she intervened and asked "Is he Danish?" when we told her he was she said that she taught him for a year or so at the same school - St. Michaels on Church Road in Blackrock. She wasn't the type to bullshit and anyway why would you bullshit about something like that?

Seriously, I'm not taking the piss. She distinctly said Jesper Olsen. Ironically, my principal's name was Mrs Ferguson!!! That'll make ya even more sceptical.
