And Jason Byrne?????
I was just thinking that Dixon is very young, as far as I know he is only barely 17. Jaosn Byrne appears to be the token EL player this time.

Another thing:
What about Flood and Ireland of Manchester City?
Is Ireland injured? And Mark Kennedy is rumoured to be signing for Sheffield United, so maybe he might have been worth a punt.

Mark Kennedy should never be allowed near an Irish jersey again. Possibly the laziest player I've ever seen.

i think kennedy burnt his bridges with a lot of people with his "starsky and hutch" incident with Phil Babb

Can't disagree with any of that.

I couldn't care less what he does off the pitch, but he was an absolute waste of space on it.

There's a face I wouldn't tire of slapping.
Liam Miller's doing well at Leeds. He's actually a fine player but for one reason or another it didn't work out for him at Man U.

I wish Matt Cooper had translated the interview, I could only make out every third word or so.

That's why I'm shocked at Jason Byrne's inclusion. If anyone should be included it's Gamble though maybe we are a bit light up front.
Stan didn't seem to know much about Dixon (from what I could gather between mumbles)

He said something along the lines of "I asked about who would be a good player from the underage setup, and everyone agreed that the lad Dixon would be a good representative."
