What a surprise that most of the albums on that list are either pop or R&B that magazine is hardly known for being impartial now is it. I disagree with 2 of the albums on that list but the rest are indeed shite

Heard William Shatners album and its hilarious its so bad......
The rest of them seem spot on but 50 is not enough.

The fact that James pigfucking cunt is not on that list is the very reason why i doubt the seriousness of that list.

I can think of several others that should be on that list

Dylan and the Dead is the album I own and I actually have it in the car and think it is a very good album with a great version of Joey on it.

William Shatner – The Transformed Man definitely belongs on the list.
Six's album whatever it was called should be on the list.
That list is bollox! Hardly anything there is good but certainly they shouldn't be in the worst top 50.

What?

Ive never listened to either in great detail so I cant really comment. I just know that most of Scippis CD collection is made of up both singers.

This particular album was, arguably, a deliberately bad album by Neil. He released an electro album, and the record company told him that they had signed him to play rock and roll, and that what they wanted. So he released this Chuck Berry style record to piss them off. Even when he is rubbish he retains artistic cred. Sounds like scippi has taste.

We're still going to have words.. strong words!!!! :p
The Bob Dylan album is a great album although not his best by any means. The Neil Young one is not great but doesn't belong in the bottom 50 of all time.

Lou Reed's one was the same. Apparently, he just made it to get out of contractual obligations. I've never heard it, but I hear it consists of horrible, unlistenable guitar feedback and lots of loud screeching.

I agree. I like Fischerspooner (they could have got the name right) and #1 is a good album, disappointing in that people were expecting more... but in the 50 worst of all time? Well it is a dance album I guess.... or they didn't supply enough coke to Q.

I only asked because I have heard only about 20 of them. You must have very eclectic taste to have heard all of those albums...

I mean I have never even heard of:

29. Various – Christmas In The Stars: Star Wars Christmas Album

Whats that one like?
Does Chewbacca do a duet with Princess Leia on it?

In fairness there was a load more shite that I could have named....Most albums by Europe, The reunion album by Yes, On the beach by ELP, Sarndista by the clash, Sid sings by sid vicious, the spagetti incident by guns n roses, the forthcoming chinese democracy album, anything by poison or warrant, be here now by wasis, most anything in the 80's by elton john....

Sandinsta would have made an excellent 14 track album but........... Anyway cut the crap is 50 times worse. How do you know that an album that is unreleased yet will be among the worst albums ever made. Give it a fair shake like.
