Lets keep it all in one place.

I believe Ken Doherty is playing some of the best snooker of his careeer at the moment, but he has a tough first round match.

Who's your money on?

Shammy

I always have a few quid on Hendry...he's always worth a bet in the World Chamionships.

Was going to say Ken alright. Seen him play Ronnie in an exhibition last week. Best of 9, ronnie went two frames up, ken was after getting three shots. Ken won the next 4 frames straight and looked impressive. Tough to gauge in an exhibition i know but i will be lamping a few quid on.

remember the nations tournament. the 3 top players from a country competed.

canada had bill werbuinek, cliff thorbourn and A.N.Other

ireland has the hurricane, denis taylor and A.N.Other

england had jimmy white, davis and either one of two tony's

Name the four missing players.

this'll separate the men from the bluffers

Doherty has a great chance now. With hendry out the only 'big boys' left are Williams and Ronnie and he won't see either of those 'till the final should he make i through. His side of the draw is relatively handy-has as good a chance as anyone now. That fucker Shaun Murphy in his side of the draw was a one tournament wonder i'd say.Must check what odds you'd get on Kenny to win it now.

He also has three 100+ breaks already in the tournament this year (like ROS). sounds like he is potting well.

All the players are complaining about the cloth on the tables..they are saying its too thick and is playing like club tables...lots of roll on the nap...

Its hard to fathom how you cant get 2 snooker tables right for the World Championships isnt it?

seems to be the case mainly the first week when you have the two table setup, but yeah its the biggest event in the sport and must drive the players mad.

well done nigel bond as well!

I think the commentators were saying that the tables take time to dry out and in fairness there has been some fuck off kicks and heavy contacts happening. There was something mentioned about the cushions trowing the balls off funny.Fair play to nigel bond.Although an in off on the final black. Davis is two down to murphy. Come on the nugget. Id love for davis to win.

Why dont they dry out the tables for a week before the tournament then???
Leave the lights on etc....

It just dont compute!

Well peter ebdon is in to the final after beating Marco Fu 17-16 earlier.Fierce comeback by Fu in fairness. And Dott is 16-8 up on ronnie o sullivan who in fairness looks like he wants to be somewhere else and doesnt seem to anything left.
