Otto:

I have a saloon for sale if that's any good to you. Thread should be appearing as soon as the mods OK it.

Naw, got sorted man. Thanks anyway but i wouldn't have gone for a saloon. Got a 01- hatchback, absoloute mint with 24 k on the clock.

How much did ya pay for it, what colour, alloys, kit etc.?

She is pepper red which is wine in my book. She have alloys, sun roof , no kit but a roof spoiler. Car is immaculate, no one ever sat in the back seat.

I paid 10,200 for her. I will chalk up about 15k a year but even in two years she will be good enough to sell.

Very decent car for the money, if not somewhat unassuming but maybe that's your thing.

Very conventional, wouldn't draw attention. Not saying it's a bad thing like, just saying.

Yeah, my thinking is that i will be using her for a year then hopefully i should be able to sell her on at a good place. I don't want to modify her or anything like that.
You on the look out for a wagon yourself?

Always but a focus is miles out of my league at the mo. If she's a 1.4 I might consider buying her when the time comes next year.

Do you know what. Chances are i will be heading off somewhere in jan, so i was thinking to myself last week, fuck i better start advertising the Focus now to give myself a bit of time. I was even thinking , yer man on the proc even said he might be interested.
I have 32k on the clock now, everything mint still. I looks after it well.
Yesterday some fucker who wasn't looking where he was going went straight up the back of me. Wrote off his car and more than likely mine too if the chasis is bent, which i think it maybe. I was stopped turning right, had my indicator on and bang yer man went straight into the back of me.

He admitted totally responsillibty but still. She was a lovely car. I can still drive it but i reckon when they prise open the boot door , it wil tell the extent of the damage.

What a balls, i regard myself as a good driver, on/off i have driving about 4 years never so much as a tip or even a blown horn at my expense.and then this.

Unlucky dude. If you do get it repaired, make sure it's repaired properly if you're going to sell it on. Plus, I think you'll have to mention it was in an accident if you sell it.

The car was written off.
I got almost what i paid for the car off yer man's insurance company.
I havn't bought anything to replace her yet, i have been renting a car and getting a loan of my brother's wagon which thankfully became available.
I am almost 85% sure that i will go ahead and purchase a 07 Focus in jan. Ford have an offer on, 20k for a new focus, 10 up front but nothing till june. Which in my book is a good offer, thats for a focus zetec with alloys, fogs, sun roof etc. A car like that is an asset like.

However i must go see a 01-focus which sounds nearly too good to be through. If she is as nice as i have been told i will deal.
