Emailed this to him for the laugh. A bit weak, but it might be funny if he responds...

Comrade,

As a citizen of the People's Republic of Cork, I note with interest your recent comment on the one they call "Party" and her stalkers/fanclub. (Needless to say, I read your "blog" RELIGIOUSLY.) Anyway, please allow me to put your/her mind at rest. I think it may be some of my fellow PROC citizens to whom you refer. I assure you, their interests are entirely benign. It's all in the spirit of science. With her coat-hanger smile and knowledge of doing things to your skin with foodstuffs, "Party" fascinates us. Do pass on our warm regards, and tell her that, should she ever wish to visit the PROC, in light of her extensive knowledge of skincare, we may consider waiving the routine decontamination procedures Dublin-based visitors must usually undergo before crossing the border.

Éire 31!

Latest news on this bollox thread:

Jessica Simpson set for Baywatch?
Reality television star and singer Jessica Simpson is reportedly in talks to star in the movie version of the television series 'Baywatch'.

According to reports, Simpson is set to take on the role of CJ Parker, the lifeguard played by Pamela Anderson in the original series.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Jessica really caught the eye in 'The Dukes of Hazzard' film last summer. She was the unanimous choice for the Baywatch role."

According to reports, David Hasselhoff, who shot to fame in the television series, has not signed on to star in the movie yet, but producers are reportedly hoping that he will reprise the role of Mitch Buchannon.

Wolfy Van Der Greylocks
05-04-2006, 04:18 PM
I hope they Hassel the Hoff into doing it - it'd be great!

Here he is Mitch Buchannon,
Mitch Buchannon loves his son,
He's called the Hobester and they both have lots of fun...

Vincent Murphy
05-04-2006, 04:22 PM
I wonder will they get another new Hobester. Perhaps taking on the appearance and taste of a delightful apple liqueur, preferably with ice, and served by a hot Swedish barmaid, to the tune of "I've been searching for Freedom".

Wolfy Van Der Greylocks
05-04-2006, 04:32 PM
i think they're going with that option - but only if he gets to wear a martini glass and following the "I've been searching for Freedom" tune he gets a live choir version of "Ár nAthair atá ar neamh, go naofar d'ainm go, dtaga do ríocht...."

Vincent Murphy
05-04-2006, 04:38 PM
And Mitch has to save the day in the end by rescuing Hobie from a load of drunk bolloxes who've already polished off 50 Hof Exports while listening to Chris de Burgh's Lady in Red.

Vincent Murphy
05-04-2006, 05:10 PM
I'm fairly sure I can remember an episode of BW where he was serenading some bird in front of the fireplace. The tune may or may not have been one of his own creation. And then he rode her right there and then in the living room. Pure filth that program was.

Wolfy Van Der Greylocks
05-04-2006, 07:26 PM
I saw that episode and to be honest it didn't happen quite like that.

He threw the gob at her and then tried to drop the láimhe - and she said "Lob it in der boss" - but then the hobester came in so they had to pretend that he was giving her mouth to mouth coz she nearly drowned in the paddling pool.

Vincent - i think you haven't factored in the fact that jack is going to be walking up that hill after his night in the brog celebrating his 35th. he will be after 4 apple liqueurs and probably be staggering a little bit.

Given that, and the fact that he'll no doubt stop off somewhere for a garlic chicken breast in a bun, and that he'll probably spend a couple of minutes talking to some hammered aul' dol who's trying to get a taxi, i reckon you'll have to add another 14 mins onto that time

Sunday's is a celebration of the Little Baby Jesus rising from the dead.

It's working title is:

"If no-one owns this Little Baby Jesus kebab in the bin, that's my lunch boy."

Not at all. OFM thought it was a great laugh. Very rock n roll. And sure we were all a bit stoaty. And Russell was chuffed to bits. He was manky though but sure....
