Well no. They are routines in databases.

Yep and you can write SP in Shell scripts for SQL Server ( for Unix ), you run the SP independent , you can code em to open an instance, login, clean up tables , take params and run queries, far as I recall ( and I'm dredging this up from a long time ago) they are a pain in the hole . think they are used a lot in front end web interfaces ( you can put the calls for the SP into the Java code and pass it it's parameters from a form or whatever)

And my stuff isn't really more interesting , I was being a little sarcastic. All work is boring really.

Never interrailled . Trained from The Dam to Vienna overnight ( and return )

twice , once when I was a wee spratt and once with a chick in the mid 90's.

I do travel by train to and from dumpland on occasion too.

But seriously hands , the itinrary you have there isn't interailing , it's taking the long way round to Helsinki .

Rent a car , ferry across to den haag and drive up FFS , overnight someplace on the way , it'd be way quicker .

I don't see how growing your hair can be interpreted as embracing a lifestyle Finner... Not planning on being a hippy either... In many ways I see the hippies moving more towards the Hands lifestyle and vice-versa e.g. Ange wouldn't have gone to WHP last year, but equally I wouldn't have gone to EP.... Not sure where all this will end up yet.... exciting times Finner - exciting times...

Actually Bitzer - serious question... do you think the A3 is a boys car or a girls car... I've always thought it a boys car, but I know two birds who are looking at it at the moment...

Good point - you want to bring the A3?

why not??????

Actually Bitzer - serious question... do you think the A3 is a boys car or a girls car... I've always thought it a boys car, but I know two birds who are looking at it at the moment...

TBH i think it is turning into a bit of a girls car,

the last 3 or 4 years alot of women are spending more money on their cars and instead of the usual peugeot/astra/corolla etc they are taking a step up the A3....

saying that i'm happy enough with the A3, but the next one i buy will have a bit more power i think.....(also, my gaff has a tiny garage and the A3 only just fits in)

On Call? What?

Every now and again I have to go on call outside of office hours and weekends to act as first line support if for example TfL alerts dont go out or some of our other services. Usually our systems phone our phone or send texts to it that means I have to login to the servers and fix/restart/freak out.

I get paid for it like and more often than not I hear nothing.

Christmas day will be a piece of piss as no trains run therefore no TfL alerts to worry about and such. Easy money and it's just for the day as we spread the days out through Christmas.

I dislike all desserts that don't come free with the Weekend Guardian (Magnums, tins of Campbells soup and Birdseye Fish Fingers).

While desserts that come free with the guardian taste the sweetest, you're wrong not to try some others. Next time we go on a date, I'll order us a fondant au chocolat that is simply to die for! The last date we went on you got a bag of maltesers for dessert. Sometimes I don't know why I bother.

Good question!

I prefer double decker but I'm going to have to say snickers.

Maybe I could bring the snickers to another shop and tell them I got it as a present but I'm allergic to nuts and could I exchange it for a double decker.

Everyone's a winner in this victimless crime.

Martin in Curby, Larry gets a jumping jack at the drive through of jack in the box. He says it's the best burger. I'm willing to take Larry's word for it. Then when Richard Lewis is asking him for a kidney, Larry says "I had a jumping jack the other day, prettay good"

Oh yeah, the story. Nothing really, I just find it hillary that she got so angry/in love with me and ange that she got hit by a car.

We were out in DPC for a few pints and were walking down by singer's corner. A DP was walking along next to us so we struck up conversation. She didn't like what we were saying and felt a bit angry at herself for falling in love with us so quickly. She walked on ahead and went to cross the road. But she was so flumoxed by our beauty she turned around when she was in the middle of the street by Finn's corner and screamed "It's not the 70s anymore, get a haircut" Meanwhile the light had turned green and as she had stopped in the middle of the road, a car came and hit her on the thigh. Even though she had been nudged by the car, she didn't care and just continues screaming at us. We were rolling around laughing on the footpath.
