badly neded this for my fantasy football charge, another by rooney would seal it.

It was a good enough performance but they should have won by a lot more, how did Rooney miss that open goal?

He tried to put it the opposite side which would have been class but he was unlucky-should have blasted it i suppose
Great performance by Rooney though imagine what he'll be like when he hits his mid 20's!
O'Shea and Giggs did well in midfield where you would have expected Parker and Emre to make in impact and Park again delivered an energetic performance
Should have been 5 or 6 at least but fuck it 3 points is 3 points
At least the hilarious bare chested Bar codes had a day to remember, there constant chanting of "USA" gave them endless amusement!

Should have been 5 or 6 but for Given and poor finishing.
But super solid performance and Rooney was unreal.
Ruud out again though I just hope he doesn't leave.
Saha did well put finishing was poor.

great stuff yesterday.we're coming into a decent run of form at the moment, even with a makeshift midfield.long may it continue.Rooney outstanding again,You've gotta feel sorry for Given though, having to play behind those clowns week in week out

Look at Owen and Fowler, now they are in their mid-twenties and compare with when they were 19.

I suspect Rooney will be the same.

I suspect you are wrong.
Owen made a bad career move and is still class.
Never was as talented as Rooney.
Fowler the same.
And he is nearly 30 I'd imagine not mid twenties.

We will see
Owen is injury prone and made a few bad decisions but is still a world class player
The less said about Fowler the better

I'd be inclined to look at Rooney in the same way as Giggs, a player who has turned the back on his initial playboy image and is still around playing superbly years later
Only time will tell
But Rooney is twice the player he was this time last year already and he's getting better

In relation to your remark about the less said about fowler the better. He got 171 goals in 330 games for LFC first time round and has been the most natural goalscorer since jimmy greaves and that includes rooney.

Shearer was a far better goalscorer than fowler In my opinion. Fowler did a hell of alot in a relatively short period of time, but when he looks back at the end of his career, can he honestly say he got the best of himself,I doubt it

NOT REALLY.
Its still correct. may was there from 95 to 2000.
which adds up to more more medals than fowler and shearer combined.
