Even though the winners are already decided and the sport is more corrupt than boxing I've been given two tips from a good source. One is each way and the other is a straight win:

Mulin Riche, running on tuesday and Attorney General on Thursday (e/w)

Ah no Dan. It's been corrupt for years. They take bribes from the owners who pay the most and then their horse wins. Normally it's the Irish who win because of the Irish tycoons involved in the game.

OK boss. I know well that a lot of the mundane, low grade horse racing is corrupt but Cheltenham and the other big meetings are class. There were great Irish horses and trainers winning big races in the UK before the McManus's of this world came along.

BBC:-

Flyer among Queen Mother hopefuls

Moscow Flyer won the Champion Chase in 2003 and 2005
Kauto Star and Moscow Flyer head the 16 confirmations at the five-day stage for the Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham on Wednesday.
Martin Pipe's Contraband, winner of the Arkle Trophy 12 months ago, was the most significant withdrawal.

Kauto Star was last seen winning the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown in December.

Moscow Flyer will try to put a poor season behind him by claiming his third two-mile crown at the age of 12.

Paul Nolan has left in his star novice Accordion Etoile, who is set to run in the Arkle 24 hours earlier, while French challenger Kario de Sormain will be a first runner on British soil for trainer Jean-Paul Gallorini.

It would fantastic to see the old boy do it, he's already a legend anyway. Lets hope its not another Istabraq

In fact I thought he was always going to win by two lengths, but when he got there he was dossing and he started to prick his ears. I don't think he'll ever win by more than a neck or half a length. With the way our horses are it was a decent performance and the impression he has always given me is the better the company the better he will be. Also he is a colt who is crying out for a fast surface - and he hasn't had it yet - Mick Kinane, Jockey ; He has a lovely, lazt way of racing but, with our horses under a cloud, I am afraid to work him too much in case I make him sick. But he had to run today if he was going to run in the National Stakes next month. This was a relief - Aidan O'Brien, Trainer27 Jul 2002 (javascript:OWSize(' ','http://www.racingpost.co.uk/horses/result.sd?race_id=32 0586',620,480,'no',' yes','yes'))Curragh (7G,RPR95)He did well to win. There was no pace and Michael [Kinane] was trying to teach him.It turned into a sprint and he did well to get up. The good ground today helped him. He wouldn't have been able to quicken the way he did if it had been soft. The race should have taught him plenty and he will probably come back here for the Group 2 King of Kings Futurity Stakes on August 24. Its only two weeks since his first run and we felt he needed more experience before going into Group class - Aidan O'Brien, Trainer

Best bet during the festivakl is when your in a pub, just bet anyone that the next 30 people that walk throught the door at least two will have the same birthday.........ser iously. Be even greedier if you wish and ask for two or three to one. You'll always catch some muppet. Then you can thank me later.
