Delayed until 11:45AM

Wonder who Liverpool/Chelsea/Rankers would have gotten. Also interesting to see who Lyon will get.

It's amazing that the two pretty average teams who finished ahead of united are still in it
United were crap though and didn't deserve to be in it
Interesting for the Arsenal, Barca, Lyon, the more attack minded Milan et al
There's some good attacking teams left

Laurent Blanc is involved in making the draw

Should be the tie of the round.

I reckon the winner has a pretty good chance of winning the whole thing.

Home draw for Arsenal in first game against Juve

Sky are gonna have a field day with the Viera returns to Highbury Story , at least 6 hours worth of build up on that alone

Good draw for the Arsenal
Juve are a vulnerable team and won't fancy playing against Henry
that said, i can't see Juve ever playing as bad again as they did against Bremen

Class coverage of this on the Guardian website:

12.03pm Internazionale or Ajax will face Villarreal. Benfica will be knocked out by Barcelona.

12.02pm: Gérard Houllier's Lyon will host AC MIlan in the first leg.

12.01pm: Arsenal are first out of the hat! And - wouldn't you know it - they got Juventus! First leg at Highbury.

If Arsenal were playing his mother he's still be for the Arse
He's a bitter litttle man but fair play to him, he is loyal to his club alright

The Bremen matches were a freak event. Juve have been pissing the Italian league. Id fancy them to eliminate Arsenal.

Especially with the 2nd leg in Turin.

tremendous draw for for Arsenal, they've a really strong shot at the final.

for all Capello's championships, and i'm a big fan of his, he has a woeful record against English clubs, if I recall correctly he has faced Liverpool twice with Roma and once with Juventus, and faced Arsenal once with Roma and failed every time. Some of the Liverpool clashes I think were in the Uefa cup.

Arsenal have done well to have Barca, Lyon and Milan on the other side.

their height and strength in Ibrahimovic and Trez will cause the Arse problems.
But Cannavaro and Thuram are old and could be caught with Thierry's pace.

Arsenal are hindered by having no physical presence in midfield against Emerson and Paddy V.

Arsenal's odds reflect the reality here. The Arse disposed of a very poor Madrid side whose stars are all the wrong side of thirty and who have been misfiring all season in La Liga.

Juve however have been running away with the Italian league in spit eof a phenomenal run of wins by Roma.

To put things in perspective, the bookies have calle dthe reality of the situation. Juve with a midfield of Emerson AND Viera won't be the pushover Becks and Graveson were.

Witht hte second leg in Turin , Juve have to be the favourites to progress. The odds reflect this.
