Hopefully we can do it.
Should set up a grandstand finish in Twickenham.
Any news on the second row situation?
I doubt O'Connell will play to be honest.
We should win. I expect a massive improvement from the welsh performance. It'll be tough cos the scots have a good pack, and Murray is back now in the lineout.
Should be a good game though. At least Scotland might actually try.

My heart says Ireland, my betting brain says 3/1 Scotland is a gift.

some lack of bottle on Eddie's part not naming Donncha or MOK in the other slot.

Nah, it was the smart move. Keep them both guessing.
If O'Connell is fit he'll pick O'Kelly though.

Ive always supported Ireland and would like to see them win, but it'll be as much joy if Scotland wins, they are my favorites this year so.

o'connell has been declared fit, with o'kelly to play along side him.
Paul O'Connell will start Ireland's crunch RBS 6 Nations Championship clash with Scotland after passing a fitness test today.
Ireland boss Eddie O'Sullivan delayed naming his second row for the Lansdowne Road encounter in order to give O'Connell every chance to recover from his shoulder injury.
The Lions lock, an inspirational figure for the Irish, suffered an AC joint separation against France nearly four weeks ago and missed the 31-5 demolition of Wales.
He was withdrawn early from training on Tuesday as a precautionary measure and was given the all clear by Ireland's medical team earlier today.
Donncha O'Callaghan has paid the price for his Munster team-mate's return and must settle for a place on the bench for the clash with Frank Hadden's side.
O'Sullivan faced a tough call in deciding who to drop out of O'Callaghan and Malcolm O'Kelly given the duo's performances against Wales, but the Leinster veteran has been given the nod.
Mick O'Driscoll, who featured on the bench against last season's Grand Slam champions, drops out of the squad altogether.
Victory in Dublin on Saturday would set up a potential Grand Slam decider against England eight days later, while Scotland need a win to keep their title hopes alive.
O'Connell was Ireland's player of the Six Nations until injury ruled him out against Wales and his presence is vital if the rejuvenated Scots are to be beaten.

Those incriminating pictures that MOK has of EOS must be racy stuff.

which is exactly what I expected him to do when he didn't name donncha as the other lock.
Fucking tool of a manager.
The state of the bench, no chance of any of those replacements changing the game.
Hickie should be among the repalcements.
Humphries and the Swerve, ffs like.

we don't exactly have many other options at OH apart from jeremy staunton (who has been playing well of late) but eddie was never going to pick him. girv hasn't been playing badly for leinster lately either but i agree thay are not the way forward

Hickie should be among the replacements, if not starting. He sho8ld be the preferred left wing, with the wc just a year away.

Denis "Wavin" Hickie, you could be right, great all rounder, saw he playing front row, second row and fly half in the wavin add, definitely merits consideration, that receding hairline adds a certain maturity to his play I feel, wally for flanker

Well it wasn't pretty, but it was never gonna be in those conditions with Scotland playing a spoiling game.
The amount of Scottish offsides was unreal, I thought the Referee had a very poor game.
A hard fought win with good performances from O'Connell and Wallace. Stringer in particular had a fine match.
The negatives, ROG had a very poor game in kicking from play and some of the passing options were mystifying , two incidents in particular stand out. Murphy' late pass to Trimble in the corner and Darcy;s failure to offload wide with Trimble in acres in the second half.
A win is a win is a win. If the French win tomorro then the match in twickenham is going to have some of he sheen taken off it, yet I think we'd have taken a possible 6 nations decider in the final match after the opening match against Italy
