Accountant Deloitte's annual report of the world's richest football clubs has confirmed Chelsea as the 5th biggest club in the world.
The report which is based solely on revenue earned shows Chelsea in 5th place ahead of English rivals, Liverpool and Arsenal with an annual revenue for the season 2004/2005 quoted as £221 million.
Manchester United are the highest placed English club in 2nd place with £246 million, but the mighty reds have in face fallen for the first time from top spot to be replaced by Real Madrid with a revenue of £278 million.
