I haven't seen any discussion about the winter olympics, is there not much interest there in Ireland?

I don't think there's much interest, well for the most part anyway.
The events don't really happen the warm sunny climate which is ours.
That said, Sir somethingorother nearly won a Luge medal at that last one, if he had then everyone would be watching the thing this time round...

I looked at it the other day. Ice Hockey..........Wome n's Ice Hockey.
Possibly the worst sport of all time.

watche the womens snowboarding halfpipe there on monday evening, fuckin hell. these girls knw the score like. almost as good as the mens at this stage and some of the tricks that american minx, teter, was pullin were outstanding!

Watched a bit of curling today for the craic. Great Britain (i.e. Scotland) beat Germany. Needless to say the BBC commentators were delighted with their boys win over what they called an "in-form Germany". Germanys record in their last 5 games? Win 1 Lost 4. Great form. Apes.

fairly intense stuff, first time seeing it, and i cant wait to see it again...
brilliant racing! fella's taking eachother out and everything.

david connelly is doing pretty well in the skeleton. he is lik 20th out of 25 and still have to wait for round two.
