23rd January - Comedy Competition
Think you're funny? Prove it.
To celebrate RAG Week, the UCC Philosophical Society is hosting its annual
stand-up comedy competition, with entry open to all UCC students. This is
a prime opportunity to get your name out there, to get something off your
chest, or even just to make people laugh. With cash prizes for the
competitors, how else are you going to make a quick buck just by laughing?
The competition will be held in G19, the Kane Building, in UCC, at 7.30pm
on Monday 23rd January, and all are welcome to come along and watch.
The night promises to be a great event as always with lots of UCC funnymen (or women) trying to make us laugh to win cash (yes, cash) prizes. Be among the contestants by coming along on Monday night or by signing up on our message board at www.uccphilosoph.com
The competition will be followed by a social event and a BIG raffle, and all the proceeds go to RAG Week charities.
Some come along for what will be a great night and all in aid of a good cause...
