Anyone got the Ripwave broadband from these guys and is it as terrible as I've been reading on the web??? What are D/L speeds like ??? I'm thinking about getting it but would like to hear what experiences others have had with it!!

Irish broadband is great when its working properly, but they have oversubscribed some locations. I use it every day and its more or less fine most of the time. beats dial up anyways.
Just make sure you don`t get the ripwave piece of shite.

Smart telecom is the way to go for broadband, its 6Mb at the moment :o

Also I've seen the the 1mb Breeze option but I dont think I can go fitting a mast to the side of my building :) I definitely need something small like Ripwave but actually does what it says.

Have a look at http://www.novanetworks.ie/

It's a Cork company, I'm subscribed to them myself. It's really fast, never had any problems.
