Nil all draw or Liverpool to sneak it by a goal. The only joker in the pack is if Rooney does something spectacular.

Probably a draw, or possibly Liverpool by a goal.

I think I'll lay United.

It will be tight, don't expect there to be more than a goal between the teams. Liverpool are the form team but Utd have home advantage and need the victory that little bit more.

If I was a betting man I'd think it may well end up a draw but it depends on:

1. How much Rafa wants to win Vs avoiding defeat
2. The Rooney factor (could potentially destroy Sami)
3. How Utd's midfield can handle Gerrard (with great difficulty is my guess)

I definately don't think Liverpool will lose but I do think United will score as we are starting to leak a few away last few games.

So based upon logic, footballing knowledge and recent form:

Man Utd 1-2 Liverpool

Would expect Van Nistelrooy to get their goal and Stevie to appear on the scoresheet for us.

I'd like to think by the odd goal to United but I have a sinking feeling dat it will go the other way!!

i will say a controversial united win. possibly with mike reily having more influence than he should.

The result itself isnt really going to count for much either way, lets face it, this match is all about earning some bragging rights. Liverpool have really starting to be looking like a decent side of late, but there are still major flaws there...... not sharp enough up front and not creative enough in wide areas. Having said that Kewell has begun to show some of his old form in recent games and there`s no doubt that he`ll be a threat if he keeps that up.

There shouldnt be much in this game providing nobody`s sent off. I`d go along with a score draw.

On a side note, it was interesting to see Ferdinand coming on in midfield for O Shea last night, I wonder if there is something to be read into there? Nothing would surprise me anymore, but one things for sure, he`d definitly have the athletisism......

I hate watching these matches in town because everywhere is inevitably full of shitheads (from every side)

Well I hope it's better than that shite 0-0 draw we watched earlier in the season Dave! A case of two teams going out not to lose rather than two top European teams trying to win a game of football - most negative match I have watched us play against United in years
