If you are running XP there should be this little icon on the bottom of the GUI next to the start button that has a symbol of a pen and paper!
I have a shortcut to that, forget it though

Nothing next to the Start button except the Proc logo. Emmm...what does GUI mean ?

Do you know Well Lane or Well Road in Douglas ?

Actually that doesn't work . I opened another site from the desktop and when i closed it ......you know what happened....this site was closed aswell.

Ok the best thing to do is to right click on the tool bar at the bottom of the screen.
Go to 'toolbars'
Go to Quick launch
You should now see the pen and paper symbol

What you want to do is keep the site open but go to the desktop for something in the meantime, yeah ??

Top right hand corner of your window, you have three small icons, a cross or X to close. A square or two squares to resize and the last one is a little line. The last one will 'minimise' the window for you.

There is a keyboard shortcut for this .... hold down the 'Ctrl' key and press 'D'

or

Right click on the bottom toolbar, where start is ..... right click on the blue empty space and click 'Show the desktop'
