This is a desperate plea to save ones college career. Have an assignment to submit in 2 days about IIR filters and their implementation in Mathematica.

Is there any DSP heads out there?

Well I can do a bit of Mathematica code alright but Ive no idea what an IIR filter is...

Was what got me through that. Should be plenty copies of that (or the previous version of it) in the library.

Follow the maths on the IIR examples as closely as possible, then adapt it to your own job.

It's a type of digital electronic filter.


FIR filters are much better/easier to implement IMO.

There's enough in that Wikipedia article to design one using Mathematica...
In fact, it looks like the actual equations themselves were put there using grabs from Mathematica.
